Algebra I Notes

The goal here is to build a clean bridge between the mechanics of solving equations and the geometry of high-dimensional space. Instead of jumping straight into abstraction, we build the theory constructively: starting from the humble linear system Ax=bA\mathbf{x}=\mathbf{b}, we develop the tools of Gaussian elimination, formalize them into matrix algebra, and finally reveal the hidden structure of vector spaces, bases, and dimension.
